When you’re half-reading a website, hoping to find something interesting
So here you are - looking at random media on your phone.
Flicking through videos, photos and clickbait articles.
Yet nothing really holds your attention.
What’s worse is when you chance on something exciting, but then it turns out to be AI slop.
I can imagine that feels disheartening.
Maybe there comes a moment where you realise this time could be better spent.
(like, finding a cure for Malaria)
(or at least, cleaning out the bottom draw of your fridge)
But something stops you looking away from the screen.
You carry on.
Clicking …
Swiping …
As a therapist, I’m wondering what that might be about?
