Life, the universe and everything

So you clicked through to this page.

You’re still online …

… still browsing.

But maybe there could be something interesting here?

(I mean, how often do you read something online which is about reflecting on why you’re reading something online?)

Furthermore, perhaps there were times in the past where you did come across something novel.

Something that caught your attention and genuinely touched you.

I wonder how often you’ve had those moments?

I suspect it’s less than you’d like.

I can imagine that when you finally step away from your device, you’re left feeling let down.

Because the experience was unsatisfying.

Or maybe you had an even stronger reaction?

As if you felt angry with yourself.

What was your experience?

The digital comedown

“How do you feel when you come offline?”

“I’m angry with myself.”
